contrary to the hype circulating around the film “dasavathaaram”, starring one of my favourite actors in tamil movies – kamalhassan – i was very disappointed with the movie as a whole but the make up in particular was HORRIFYING.. Kamal in 6 (the granny, the activist, the aikido master, the tall muslim, fletcher, avtar singh) of his ten roles looks more hideous than anything else..
Avvai Shanmugi and Indian were very good examples of good make up artists.. They should have had the same people for this movie too..
Of course you cant complain about Kamal’s acting skills which shone yet again..
